    One of my goals as a designer, after manipulating images and sounds for many years primarily on a computer was to engage more with the physical world.  The opportunity came during my first 5 weeks here in the Products of Design program as we were tasked to create a rough sketch of an object including a line, a plane, and a volume using chipboard and hot glue, then make it real and permanent.
